We attach special importance to an economically sustainable way of farming. This is because future generations will particularly need to rely on the highest yields of the best possible quality. This is only feasible if the soil fertility and, thus its profitability, is maintained and enhanced in the long term.
Therefore, we pay high attention to the nutritional values of our soil and give back all that has been taken out during the cultivation process. The basis for this is a balanced compilation of organic and mineral fertilization.
The regular distribution of precious marine algae maintains and improves our soil structure. This is combined with careful tillage practices and a balanced crop rotation to enhance the biological activity and increase the productivity of our soils.
In order to do this, we use the latest technological advancements that are able to respond to the smallest site-specific necessities, based on a GPS system built into our machinery. With this technique we can analyse and precisely adapt to the different soil conditions and their nutritional supply needs during the sowing and cultivation process.
At the same time, we have been able to significantly reduce our energy consumption by GPS-controlled machinery, reasonable field sizes and the use of crawler drives.
What should not be forgotten is our conscious handling of the beautiful surrounding landscape with its great variety of flora and fauna. Through the careful use of biotopes, the maintenance of hedges and meadows and the creation of flowering and conservation strips in our fields, we aim to contribute to the preservation of our precious environment.
